Horomone replacement therapy is no joke. I started off on a patch called Vivelle Dot that strictly contained estrogen but I feel tired all the time, somewhat empty or "flat" feeling, anger and sadness. I am all over the place emotionally. I finally called the doctor today and he suspected that my estrogen dose is too high and suggested we change my medication to something else. I am now on a pill with a lower dose of estrogen that also contains testosterone. I am hopeful that this is the key to me feeling a little bit better. I do not like being on this emotional roller coaster and I want to get off the ride.
